Our little girl Maggie is not so little anymore. She's now weighing in at 11 lbs 5 ozs and is 23 inches long! She is starting to do more than just sleep, eat, and poop: staying alert for long periods of 30 mins to an hour. She loves to look around and take everything in, bat her toys, and give big goofy smiles. This week she came to Jack's music class and loved it, she sat upright looking around and listening to everyone sing for about 30 minutes. She still gets the hiccups a lot, ones you can hear in the next room, and burps like a trucker. Her signature fashion statement is a bib, since she tends to spit up, A LOT. And she enjoys her bath, much more than Jack did as a baby. We never know what the night will bring, but last night she slept 6 hrs and 45 minutes and her longest stretch was 8 hours! Her eyes are slowly lightening and you can tell she's going to have her Dada's beautiful blues. We have discovered that she LOVES the baby Bjorn. It must be that she loves cuddling up close. : )
The purple "lipstick" was some dye used to eradicate a little case of Thrush.
